Starting 3 Point Takedown was never just about selling wrestling shoes; it was about giving back to the sport that shaped me. As a lifelong wrestler and coach, I wanted to create something that wrestlers everywhere could trust—a brand that embodies the grit, passion, and determination we bring to the mat every day. What started as a one-man operation has grown in ways I never could have imagined, and it’s all thanks to the support of the wrestling community.
Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the best in the sport. Partnering with Team Michigan to support freestyle and Greco national-level athletes has been a rewarding experience, and I’m proud to contribute to the development of young wrestlers at Michigan Premier. Closer to home, I’ve been fortunate to help out at Lowell, Plainwell, and Grand Rapids Catholic Central High Schools, sharing my knowledge and passion for the sport.
In addition to coaching, I’ve had the honor of collaborating with Division 1 athletes to refine our shoe designs and ensure they meet the highest standards of performance. This commitment to quality has led to the release of three signature models: Predator Pulses, Ember Elites, and Purple Reign. Each launch has been a step forward in delivering better products and an improved customer experience. Our journey doesn’t stop here; we’re always striving to innovate and meet the needs of wrestlers everywhere.
One of the most exciting milestones this year has been partnering with Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio. This marks our first collegiate partnership, and it’s a testament to the trust that teams and coaches place in our brand. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see 3 Point Takedown shoes on athletes who are working hard to make their mark on the sport.
