Matty first caught the wrestling world’s eye as high school freshman upsetting a senior  chasing his fourth state title—someone who had defeated Matty’s older brother in state finals multiple finals. That match wasn’t just an upset—it was a message. Matty never backed down, not then, not ever.

He rose through the ranks with grit, faith, and fire. Competing for a small Division 1, new program, he stayed loyal to his coaches, trusted in God, and believed in himself when no one else would. His journey isn’t just about wrestling—it’s about belief, loyalty, and breaking through limits.
